The Madrid TechConnect Funding Opportunities Workshop, hosted by EIT Digital on 23 September 2025, was a training event focused on supporting startups and scaleups in Madrid in accessing European funding opportunities. Co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund and the Comunidad de Madrid, the workshop provided practical guidance on EU funding mechanisms, eligibility criteria, and strategies for securing financial support.
The event reached key stakeholders across the Madrid innovation ecosystem, including entrepreneurs, startups, corporations, universities, and research centres.
During the workshop, 28D presented the challenges introduced by the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and highlighted the opportunities offered by the CURIUM project, particularly in terms of training and support for organisations navigating the evolving cybersecurity regulatory landscape.
