Insights from the EU Cyber Acts Conference on the Cyber Resilience Act!

The EU Cyber Acts Conference was held in Brussels on March 27th –28th, bringing together policymakers, industry leaders, cybersecurity experts, and researchers to discuss the strategic implications of European cybersecurity legislation. A focal point of the discussions was the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), a key regulatory framework aimed at strengthening the cybersecurity of digital products and services across the EU.

Dr. Athanassios Staveris-Polykalas attended the conference, gaining valuable insights relevant to the CURIUM project. The discussions covered critical aspects of CRA enforcement, including cybersecurity-by-design principles, compliance challenges, and sectoral impacts. These insights are crucial in shaping effective regulatory, technical, and operational strategies for CRA implementation.

The knowledge gained will support CURIUM’s vision of building a resilient digital landscape by enhancing the security, privacy, and accountability of hardware and software products with digital elements.
