CURIUM Research Presented at the IEEE ICE –  31st International Conference on Engineering, Technology and Innovation

A scientific paper developed as a joint outcome of the CURIUM and CUSTODES projects was presented at the IEEE ICE – 31st International Conference on Engineering, Technology and Innovation, held from 16 to 19 June 2025 in Valencia, Spain.

The paper co-authored within the two EU-funded initiatives – CUSTODES (DEKRA) and CURIUM (Cyber-security d.o.o. and ApiroPlus Solutions) – was introduced to an international audience of researchers and industry experts.

The contribution examines the intersection of the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), Common Criteria (CC), and semantic technologies (including OWL, SWRL, and Protégé) to support enhanced automation. It showcases research from the projects, on how ontologies and semantic models can be applied to improve cybersecurity certification processes and streamline compliance activities within the CRA framework.

Participation in IEEE ICE 2025 provided an excellent opportunity to present these research findings to leading experts in engineering and innovation, gather valuable feedback, and further advance the objectives of both projects – particularly the ongoing research carried out under the CURIUM initiative.
