What is the CRA?
The Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), officially Regulation (EU) 2024/2847, is the first single legislative framework in the European Union that introduces mandatory security requirements for all products with “digital elements” (hardware and software).
The CRA is a new EU law that introduces cybersecurity requirements for all products with digital elements placed on the EU market. It affects manufacturers, developers, importers, and suppliers of software and hardware products of all sizes, including small and medium-sized businesses.
