The interactive cybersecurity workshop “Think Before You Click! To Hackers, the Easiest Target is You!“, organized by our partner p-NET Emerging Networks & Vertical Applications, on May 17th at the University of Patras Conference Center, was a great success.
Led by Cybersecurity Research Associates at the University of Patras, George Daniil and Nikolas Filippatos, the session captivated the audience with hands-on awareness activities, practical tips, and real-world examples on how to stay safe online. The workshop offered participants a powerful look at everyday cybersecurity risks – and how small, informed actions can make a big difference in staying secure.
We are especially proud that this workshop was organized with the support of the CURIUM Project, alongside fellow EU-funded initiatives SAND5G EU project and CUSTODES EU Project. CURIUM’s mission to promote cybersecurity awareness and resilience in digital environments was strongly reflected throughout the session.
In addition to the workshop, p-NET hosted an interactive booth where visitors could ask questions and learn more about EU-funded cybersecurity efforts. The CURIUM Project’s flyers were distributed to interested attendees, offering insights into how the project is contributing to a more secure and resilient digital future.
Thank you to TEDxPatras for creating the space for these critical discussions under this year’s theme Once Upon Tomorrow – and to everyone who participated and contributed to the session’s success.
