As part of the Cyber Resilience and Security Workshop at Techritory 2025 in Riga, which was held on October 23rd, our team had the opportunity to present the CURIUM Project and demonstrate a suite of innovative tools designed to support cybersecurity certification and compliance across Europe.
In today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape, cybersecurity certification is no longer optional – it’s a strategic necessity. With the forthcoming Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), businesses – particularly SMEs – will be expected to meet rigorous and standardised cybersecurity requirements.
During the workshop, Kristian Ravic, Project Manager at Cyber Security Ltd., provided an overview of the CURIUM Project, outlining its role in developing innovative platforms, tools, and services that guide businesses through the complexities of cybersecurity certification.
Dr. Admir Jukan, Senior Project Manager at Cyber Security Ltd., introduced the Conformity Assessment and Compliance (CAC) Tool, showcasing how it helps SMEs manage their compliance journey – from initial readiness checks to ongoing post-market monitoring. The tool enables automated self-assessment with clear visualisation of requirements, helping users identify gaps and strengthen regulatory readiness.
Christos Kargatzis, Software Engineer at AEGIS IT Research, presented the Penetration Self-Testing and Vulnerability Assessment (PSTVA) Tool, highlighting its contribution to CURIUM’s mission of supporting cybersecurity validation and assurance.
Through initiatives like these, CURIUM is helping to build a more cyber-resilient Europe, empowering SMEs to turn compliance into a competitive advantage and promoting a secure and trustworthy digital economy.
